Now that we have entered the last quarter, we have an opportunity to make a big push to increase our business contacts, our outreach and our income.
The biggest shopping opportunity for us to gear up for is the holiday season. However, there are other opportunities before the December holiday season.
Halloween will be upon us in a few days. Does your business niche allow you to reach out to parents and children in this area. Do you offer any items that might appeal to or entice others to invest in for Halloween. If not, perhaps you can think of a free incentive (gift) you can develop and offer for signing up for your list. This would be a win/win situation for both you and your prospect. Think outside the box. Make it fun—for you and the recipient.
November brings Thanksgiving which tends to be a time for families to gather together. Are there items you can promote that will benefit both you and your customer? Again, think outside of the box.
Following Thanksgiving the focus moves to the December holidays. Develop a reason that will stimulate others to need your product (as a gift or for personal use) during this time. The key is to have a plan and implement it. Don’t wait until December 1 to get started. Start now.
Many entrepreneurs earn the majority of their income for the year during the last quarter. Most people are in the buying mood and that can easily translate into sales and profits. However, I suggest you be genuine. Evaluate your product(s) carefully. Identify the needs they fulfill and promote those.
Wishing you a busy and profitable fourth quarter.
